CONSULTATION AND FEES

The initial consultation is an important first step in the process of hiring an attorney. It is a chance for you to have your questions/concerns answered. The consult is also an opportunity to see if we are a "good fit" in terms of a lawyer/client relationship. No two cases are alike, but we do our best to answer your questions about your case during the initial consultation. We discuss your concerns, case resolution options, possible case outcomes and other questions you may have. Additionally, we try to give you a reasonable estimate as to what you can expect in terms of fees and costs.

We charge a $75.00 flat fee for an initial one-hour consultation regarding your case. For our bankruptcy consultation we offer a half-hour free consultation.

If you decided to hire us for your case, we request a minimum initial retainer of between $3,000 and $5,000, depending on the complexity of your case. We charge $275 per hour for attorney time and $125 per hour for paralegal time.

If you decide to hire us for your bankruptcy case we charge a $1299 flat fee for single petitions and a $1500 flat fee for joint filings. We require that the entire fee be paid up front before we start any work on your case.
